April 27, 2013 - Attorney Gloria Mitchell and Mitchell & Associates Legal Assistant, Brooke Litherland, volunteered with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful for the Great Indy Cleanup event in which they worked with neighbors of the Near West neighborhoods of Stringtown, Haughville, We Care and Hawthorne on various cleanup beautification projects. April 24, 2013 - Attorneys Amy Carson and Ashley Balicki attended the Hamilton County Bench Bar Breakfast in which Judge Pfleging shared thoughts and advice with members of the Hamilton County Family Law Section. The goal of these quarterly breakfast meetings with a Hamilton County Judicial Officer is to promote fellowship between the Bench and the Family Law Bar and to learn a little more about the Judges we practice in front of frequently.

April 23, 2013 - Attorneys Robin Kelly, Laura Gaskill, Amy Carson and Ashley Balicki attended the Indianapolis Bar Association Family Law Section Spring Open Meeting. Topics related to the proudtoparent.org program, modest means mediation and case law review were presented. New case law updates related to relocation, UCCJA, spousal maintenance, college expenses, grandparent visitation, business valuations and paternity were all discussed. Amy Carson’s, recent appellate case—Zivot v. London, 981 N.E.2d 129 (Ind. Ct. App. 2012)—was also highlighted.
